5 horror movies that deserve to be (more) known

The closer the fateful day comes, the more your hands shake. You feel the tension going through your body from bottom to top. You put all the soup in the brick pumpkin in the bottom of your closet. Guérande salt is placed at the four corners of your living room and you have condemned the telescope of your toilets so that no giant rat emerges. In short, this year, Halloween will not be right for you.

You took all your precautions (although ... you should perhaps also wash your hands: the germs, it is a blow to finish with a monster of pus at the bottom of the throat). You are sure that no one will come to spoil your evening and this time you are determined to brave the worst demons - but only in your TV.

Close the curtains, take a plaid and some stress seals, here are five films that do not pretend to only scare. Here are 5 good horror movies that deserve to be a little more known.

The pitch
A young couple goes on holiday tranquillou at the edge of a lake when a band of thugs decides to take them in flu. Why ? Because they seem a bit too civilized and sexy. Difficult to escape when the 4 × 4 smokes and that a whole pile of apprentices psychopaths pursue you day and night ...

Why you will not emerge unscathed
Because you are not dealing with a monster or a situation that requires a share of the supernatural. Eden Lake is a story quite imaginable in a magazine of various facts well disguised. The actors are good: you will probably recognize Michael "Magneto" Fassbender, Kelly Reilly or Jack O'Connell (Cook in Skins ). This good horror movie is unhealthy and perfectly mastered a rhythm that takes pause only to prepare you for even more horrible. In short, it is more than the small feature film of teenager that its promo implies! For me, it remains a reference and an experience that has traumatized a part of my mind yet armored enough.

The pitch
The Bizarre Theater is not a traditional horror film, but a series of seven short films. The idea was to pay tribute to the Grand Guignol Theater, the precursor of the gore at the end of the 19th century. For nearly two hours, the work of seven filmmakers specializing in horror follows a macabre atmosphere. As the title says, everything in this tete-a-tete with your TV will seem strange and disturbing to you. Some creations are very gore, others more subtle or downright kitsch. To give you an idea, know that you will see a good pack of murders, revenge, a witch, a break, food, drugs and puppets.

Why you will not emerge unscathed
Because, like the horrible stories in the mangas of Ochazukenori, the shorter it is, the better. You risk coming out of this session with full-headed images and serious questions about the mental health of filmmakers. All have a clean aesthetic and a different way of telling the worst horrors. Some sketches may be a little below the others, this good horror film deserves that a few more pupils land on his film (way of speaking).

Hostel (part I and II) (I specify because the III is an unnamed dung)

The pitch
A group of buddies decides to spend a holiday watered with alcohol and other more sensual fluids in Eastern Europe. Hosted in a kind of hostel, they meet and enjoy their first night when one of them disappears ... In fact, the hotel costs an arm: no, to sleep in a room you will not pay Dear, but you will be separated from your members, literally. Watch Sarkar 3 Latest Movies Online.

I will stick to it if you do not want any spoiler, otherwise I invite you to read the rest by highlighting.

The inn is in fact a place where the managers of a particularly despicable trade supply themselves with human souls. They kidnap people and sell their lives at auction to wealthy billionaires. They then have the right to torture them as they see fit, to purge some kind of primary instinct. Here it is.

Why you will not emerge unscathed
Admittedly, Hostel is not a totally unknown horror film. Eli Roth, actor, Tarantino poet and director of Hemlock Groves and Green Inferno, took charge of the project. The idea is inspired by real facts, which is rather hallucinating ... Never again do you dream of setting foot in Slovakia, and you risk seeing people in suit and tie with a worried look for a month or two.

No need to draw you a picture, Hostel is an ultra-gore film, full in torture-porn style. If you have been sensitive to the aesthetics and intelligence of Saw, you will be able to endure one or two horrible screams more, if not go your way (I do not want to be held responsible for the week of sick leave you will take after Have seen it). However, Hostel remains a good horror film, very original, not stupid and which challenges a society of power where money buys everything ... even life.

The pitch
Pauline is a young high school student a disturbed hair. On the margins of society and against the dictates of beauty and the principles of politeness that we inculcate society, she prefers to be passionate about surgery. Despite her mother's more strict education and the seemingly perfect model of her younger sister, Pauline can not get anchored in reality. Little by little, it is invaded by strange dreams, psychotic delusions more and more disturbing where blood and organs become sources of unhealthy pleasure ...

Why you will not emerge unscathed
Excision plays, to tell the truth, more in the court of the psychological thriller than of the horror film. However, it is still not to put in hands too trembling. Besides the fact that the photograph of this horror film is extremely careful, the psychological side of the plot is strange enough to succeed in captivating you from beginning to end. It is also the opportunity to discover an AnnaLynne McCord a bit less reloo that in 90210 Beverly Hills: New Generation. I liked to see her in this role very incarnated and ... certainly not the easiest to show her parents.
